Coming up on 2 years, 30k miles. Main complaint is the gas tank size needing frequent fill ups. Rear seat leg room small but it's also a mid size and I was considering a Tundra but it was way too big for my needs. Coming from a sport car I did find it a bit slow but its also a long bed off road...
Roughly how much weight are you carrying at the rear axle compared to stock? I have an off road long bed and installed the Dobinsons 820 and 817 with all stock shocks and the rear is super raked without any modifications to the front. Just put in the order for the Bilstein 6112/6110 yesterday...
It's possible. Lots of variables, shot placement, range, ammo type, etc, etc. Even the type of hogs depending on location. Lots of varying information about it online, Youtube, etc. as well lol. We primarily hunt in East TX and the hogs are 200+ lbs so these cartridges have worked pretty good vs...

I have a '24 Tacoma OR and a '21 4runner OR and I plan to keep both as long as possible until the kiddo can drive it though as OCD/perfectionistic one can be, you can't predict what will happen.
Prior to the Taco I had a super clean 2015 BMW M4 with only 15000 miles, original owner, never seen...
Any trimming or modifications besides the lift to fit the wheels? I've been eyeing Rays/Volks but the normal fitments for 3rd gens and 17s were a no go because of the poke and difference in offsets. Thinking about gram lights now...
I'm surprised the hybrids have 18s in the exact same design. I'd be interested in if the bigger brakes from a hybrid put on a non-hybrid are noticeable or much better?
I have the SD. The cover itself is solid, and leakproof. The tacoma bed is far from sealed though. You’ll need to add extra sealant, lining, etc. especially around the tailgate area. I have everything to do it but haven’t gotten around to getting it done.
It's a great truck, alot of the issues/problems are blown out of proportion especially on Youtube to get clicks, on *certain* Facebook groups like Taco Nation where the 4th gen gets alot of hate albeit it is very expensive. I don't think you'll be disappointed in terms of switching to Toyota...
Get the collar and spacer kit from Peak. I love it so far. The long bed rake is super evident. I got the same truck as you, but stock tires. Debating between doing the 285s on the stock rims like you or doing both tire and wheels. Here is mine with the front 2.25 inch level from Peak.
