  1. BFGoodrich All Terrain T/A KO3 275/70R18, Trailhunter Wheels, Stock TRD OR

Hell yeah. I’ve been loving the kO3s. They’re not invincible, but they’re definitely a huge step up from the stock tires. Most manufacturers put cheaper tires on their new vehicles, so it’s not like Toyota is being extra shady. People see Falken or BFG on their factory tire sidewalls and may...
  2. BFGoodrich All Terrain T/A KO3 275/70R18, Trailhunter Wheels, Stock TRD OR

How do you mean? The stock wheel offset for the off road is -45! Are you looking for less poke? Just gotta remember the flares on the Pro and Trailhunter are an inch wider, so they’re gonna poke some on the lower trims. It’s honestly not that much, but I certainly wouldn’t wanna go any wider!
  3. Steering Tilt not going high enough.

Y’all just need to face up to the fact that you have weird shaped bodies! I kid… it would be nice if there were a bit more adjustability to the steering wheel, but personally, this truck fits me like a glove lol. I also have my seat adjusted to max height and the wheel is very close to my...
  4. Premium Fuel or Regular

Thanks for the explanation. I wasn't sure, but I was referencing another user's post and did a bare minimum google search which seemed to indicate that the "research octane number" meant that the manufacturer tested their motor using that particular fuel. Your explanation makes about as much...
  5. Premium Fuel or Regular

They pointed out earlier that the power figures and ratings given with these motors and presented on the window sticker were found using 91 octane (hence, the “research octane number”). The manual states to use at least 87, not that you need to use 91. I only use 87 in mine, but I’m also...
  6. Premium Fuel or Regular

Thanks! I saw that in the manual too. I think you're correct regarding the "research" number too. Fortunately, I've been using Top Tier gas exclusively without realizing it, but unfortunately, I've just been using 87. I haven't noticed any issues, and I'll likely continue using it since I'd...
  7. Alpharex Nova LED Projector Headlights

Hell yeah man!! I’m excited for ya. Can’t wait to see how they turn out. Extra props if you can get em done before the end of all these Memorial Day sales ??
  8. Premium Fuel or Regular

What do you mean when you say "top tier fuel?" I've only ever used 87, and most of the time, I try to get it from the Sunoco near my house, but I feel like all gas, for the most part, these days comes from the same places/refineries regardless of which gas station you are buying it from. Do you...
  9. Alpharex Nova LED Projector Headlights

@emerica243 Hey Matt, thanks for sharing all the work you've done to your ride so far! I see you've taken the plunge on these aftermarket headlamps, and before I do the same, I'm just hoping you can confirm that the factory level adjustment knob will be compatible with them once you've got them...
  10. 275/70-18's in SL or C Load Rating?

Exactly. I'm betting the Pro would hardly feel different, and considering that the OEM tires are already 32.6", going only 1/2" bigger and a bit heavier will probably have even less of an impact on fuel economy as compared to the non-hybrid setup with the same wheels/tires. I agree with the OP...
  11. 275/70-18's in SL or C Load Rating?

I have the KO3s, and yes, they’re heavy, but my ride quality is excellent and they’re smooth and quiet on the road. I personally think some of the concerns about effecting performance are a little overblown. I have a base TRD OR, and in my opinion, I hardly notice any difference in the truck’s...
  12. 275/70-18's in SL or C Load Rating?

I believe General Grabber A/TX are available in an SL rating as well. BFGoodrich KO3s are supposed to be coming out in a C or SL rated tire in this size at some point this year, and the Falkens are already available, but they’re super heavy.
  13. OEM Bed Cover / Cargo Divider in truck bed

Yo David! Sorry I didn't see this earlier. I just wrote up a thing on this for another fella here. Might have some useful information for you if you're interested.
  14. Will a cargo divider for a 3G fit on a 4G?

So once you install the bed cover (at least with the OEM or Bakflip versions which are very similar to one another), your accessory rails will get bumped inwards by a 1/2" or so on each side to accommodate for the mounting brackets that attach the cover to your bed. The bed divider sits in...
  15. BFG KO3 275/70R18, TRD Pro Wheels on a Stock TRD Off Road (Barely Stuffed Spare Tire)

Nice! I think Toyota nailed the halo wheels for these trucks. The poke is just right on the stock TRD OR. I went with the Cali Raised sliders largely because the OEM ones still weren't readily available when I ordered them, but I also like the fact that they serve as a nice step too. The OEM...
  16. Will a cargo divider for a 3G fit on a 4G?

Yes. I pulled the one I had in my 3rd gen and slapped it right into the bed of my new one the day I picked it up. I’m assuming you’re referring to the ones that fit on the accessory rails in the bed. I did have to trim the ends once I installed the bed cover though, just a heads up.
  17. BFG KO3 275/70R18, TRD Pro Wheels on a Stock TRD Off Road (Barely Stuffed Spare Tire)

I think you should’ve gone with the TH wheels ?. Truck looks awesome man! Are those the OEM rock sliders?
  18. Tire pressure screen reset - when will there be a TSB?

I agree. Just saying, in my truck, it comes back. I turn on the truck wait 5-10 seconds, it switches back to the tpms screen automatically, and then I release the parking brake. If I release the brake too early, it’ll stay on trip B until I reset the brake. Again, this is how mine behaves, and...
  19. **RANT** Disabling LDA permanently...

Yeah, the adaptive cruise control is the default for some reason. Fortunately, it's easy enough to switch between the two. Still annoying though. Take a picture of the LDA light you're talking about. Doesn't sound right to me at all. May want to consider talking to the dealership.
  20. **RANT** Disabling LDA permanently...

Lol, I thought my truck was broken when I first drove it cause of all the driving assists. Turned everything off when I pulled into my driveway and has been off ever since. My truck drives like a normal vehicle now, yay!
