Haha that’s me. Update, went to the dealership and I’ll be getting new fog lights. Unknown ETA so could be months before I get replacements.

Hey I just saw this thread and I posted about this as well. Did you ever figure out if this was normal or did you go to the dealership to get it fixed/looked at?

I don’t think it’s a protective film because as this layer peels off the layer that is left is foggy.

I noticed that there is a clear layer that is coming off of the factory rigid fog lights. I don’t know if this was a protective layer or a defect. Anyone else have this issue?

Mine eventually went away since the weather hasn’t been too hot but I’ll get back to you if the rattle is there again.

When you say drives much better, as in more responsive because the springs are stiffer? I can't imagine that it's more soft/supple over day to day bumpy roads

just to clarify, when you press the side button to automatically open the tailgate, it does NOT go up if the latches of the bed extender are in place? I've heard that people turn off the auto tailgate open/close because they worry that it will try to close with the bed extender latched in.

Just a PSA to check your JBL Flex from time to time. I went to use mine and noticed it wouldn't turn on. If it's plugged to power it's fine, but it appears that the battery won't hold charge any longer. I've set up an appointment with the service department to get it looked at but likely will...

I wonder if the harness that is supplied is suppose to plug directly into the trailer lights harness similar to the Diode Dynamics hitch light but then you're suppose to use the supplied pig tails and harness that came with the trucks for use of the auxiliary switch?
