yeah, funny you mention that but I noticed it as well in the past. When I wear my newer shoes that have thicker soles the whole truck feels different shifting, I didn't think much of it.
Yesterday I wore slides as I just needed to go grab a quick bite (I try to avoid driving MT in sandals) but...
Just rounding out to 4500km on the odo now and lately I am noticing the bite point has changed or seemingly changed and it is higher. Overall the bite point feels like, my leg muscle memory for the first 4000km has had to change a bit as my previous clutch engagement pedal stance gets me going...
Either this started recently or I only started to notice but going into reverse (and a bit for 6th gear) the boot has a really annoying and noticeable rubbing noise. Anyone else have the same issue?
While I get the sensationalists are cashing in on drama and dog piling and people not wanting to give time of day to that the aside issue is that having catastrophic transmission issues, of whatever frequency, this early on from a mileage perspective is not acceptable for a brand like Tacoma...
wow 13K klicks already? Other than the 1-2 shift any other issues?
I am actually considering going back to the dealer and trading it in while I can before mine fails, it seems there are a number of low mileage 6MT failures already.
Very hard to enjoy the truck now with press and word of mouth...
Really humid day today in Ottawa - definitely felt clunkier. More than usually anyhow. 2nd gear is unnervingly clunky and stiff compared to all the other gears which are notchy.
Very hard shift to get silky smooth, unless you drive slow.
