Most all aftermarket sliders will flex to some degree.. you will not notice the flex as much because they are made to stay away from the body like the factory ones do and the more they stick out from the frame the more they will flex.. you noticed the trailhunter bars flex because they are so...
Pretty much anything that is attached to any vehicle that disrupts the vehicles natural air flow will create noise. Some racks are quieter than others. I installed a nitrous bottle on my sound system. Don’t hear anything but music
Really been thinking about what tires I will change to on my trailhunter..been struggling with the tire size and really don’t want to put a lift on it. Just trying to keep it simple. Yours will look great when it’s done..enjoy it
The TSB had nothing to do with the wind noise.. it was designed to stop the rack from vibrating at speed. Drive 65 mph and stick your hand out the window.. you’re going to get wind noise. Same with a rack that is sticking up on your roof
Thank you.. I had talked to Dobinson about that same thing" they told me I would get 1/2 inch in the front with the 820 spring and 1 1/2 in the rear with the 817 spring..
I have the greenlane with the kick out.. I don’t use them for steps (I don’t need steps to get in) but they work great for body protection and to stand on to wash the roof of the truck.. definitely well made
You can get the SS hardware at any decent hardware store.. I know you shouldn’t have to pay extra but that’s how some venders work.. they have your money
