Thanks for posting this solution and saving me a ton of time searching.

Same thing on my 2024 TRD Pro! So frustrating. It continued to happen for over 1000 miles, then suddenly corrected itself. I have towed a trailer since then and it functioned properly. No recall performed yet. I don't have any answers for this.
