I got mine and installed. Agree the back pin is tough. I used a stick to hold it up while I inserted the pin. It seems to have quited the noisy injectors and like someone else said the tone is lower. Would highly recommend.

Why can’t Toyota just fix this with a software update?

No, unfortunately I have not figured It out. I even bought a used climate control unit off eBay to get the factory switches and downloaded the factory repair manuals but no luck.

I love my new Tacoma but totally agree on the tank size and mpg. I have approx 3,600 miles on mine and have been hoping that at least the mileage would improve. Is there a big difference between the driving modes as it relates to gas mileage? I keep mine in eco mode.

Does anyone know if Toyota prewired heated seat wiring in the 2024 Tacomas even if they didn’t have that option? Could someone who has a Tacoma with heated seats include a photo of your under seat wiring? Thanks!
