I got the email as well, and have had this happen randomly during driving. The screen just goes blank but I can usually wake it back up. Since no remedy as of yet and doesn’t happen all that often, I’ll wait until next service period.

Just as an update: The dealership did send photos of these to their rep and had them warrantied out, so replacements are on the way (5-7 days), and they said should be 3-4 hours time to install them. So if anyone else is having this issue, take your truck in and have them warrantied.

I just dropped my truck at the dealership today for this issue. Will let you know what comes of it. Hopefully they just replace them and move on. Ironically enough, Rigid is located about 20 minutes from me.

Case opened, and already got a call from Toyota. I urge all of you to also do the same - if enough cases actually start coming through about this dumb issue, maybe they'll actually fix it. It honestly can't be that painful of an update.

It’s not the way the SPV taillight adapter harness works. You’d have to manually move the wiring pin in the harness so the lights are triggered by the brake light wire instead of running light wire. The rigid halo lights are not excessively brighter than the taillights.

Mine seems to reset after I've remote started the truck thru the app. As far as the other custom settings on the gauges, it seems the TPMS is the only one that doesn't stick - all the others stay put. But the TPMS always ends up flipping back to trip/odo

Has anyone had issues getting their HUD display position/brightness staying where you set it? I've raised mine up several times, and after multiple trips - it seems to reset itself back down to the lowest setting and I have to reset it again. Same with some of the customized gauge displays...

Would you say the light output is pretty decent? It's been quite hard to tell from the photos they've posted so far. I know the ambers are just backight, but curious about how decent the actual white lights throw.
