Yes I wish it was a recall, I took my 2024 in multiple times and showed video with the chirp on start up. They could never reproduce the chirp, that may sound familiar to a lot of 4th gen owners. I do wonder if the 4Runners chirp like the Tacomas.

2026 TRD OR TACOMA, started chirping at around 2,000 miles. The chirp is definitely quieter than my 2026 though, but still annoying. Noticed that the chirp is louder when I’m on the throttle.

Everyone involved was ok, insurance paid fairly. after speaking with the insurance adjuster, the truck will be auctioned off. Someone will get a good deal and straighten the frame, get registered with a salvaged title and have a 4x4 beater.

Are they normally that loud? Can hear it with windows up.

Anyone else have this rattling sound? It’s been happening since I drove off the lot. Toyota Techs say they can’t hear it and all tests come out fine. Others have told me it sounds like something is loose when I’m driving by. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks
