  1. Washington OEM Long Bed Rock Rail Set PT738-35244 / PT738-35245

They are what Toyota includes with the Trailhunter build. I never got on any rocks with them myself given I am focused on getting to fishing spots, not off-roading. Maybe some other Trailhunter owners have?
  2. Tacoma Trailhunter Floor Mat Fail — Fixed with WeatherTech

Just sold my TH mats for $80 after having them sit on Craigslist and OfferUp for almost a year. I replaced those with LasFit mats as well, been very happy with these. WeatherTech was always my go-to before and I still have these in my daughter's Mazda (just did a warranty replace, WeatherTech...
  3. Washington OEM Long Bed Rock Rail Set PT738-35244 / PT738-35245

OEM Long Bed Rock Rail Set. These just came off my 2024 Tacoma Trailhunter Long Bed. I have 10,000 miles. Very mild wear on the bottom. This is my fly fishing vehicle, I do not off road. These have never touched rocks other than dirt and gravel kicking up from dirt roads. Includes installation...
  4. OEM Bed Mat FAIL – LasFit Fixes It (Install + Review)

My TH did not come with an OEM bed mat. I ended up going with a WeatherTech Impactliner, which has been great. I did go with LasFit floor liners, very happy with those so far. They are more supple than the WeatherTech floor liners I have in one of my cars. That seems to keep dirt from getting...
  5. Kuat IBEX Bed Rack | Lighting Kits | Bed, Chase, and Scene Lights

DEK is now available for our trucks
  6. Kuat IBEX Bed Rack | Lighting Kits | Bed, Chase, and Scene Lights

Nice! Any idea when the Kuat DEK with your lights will be available?
  7. Best aftermarket mud flaps?

I ended up replacing the Toyota Canadian front mudflap with the Ark. The side paint, fender flare, and door handles were all getting blasted still. The Ark's are not 100%, but much better.
  8. KUAT IBEX and Kuat IBEX Retractable Tonneau Adapter - IBEXC1

There is a known issue with Retrax Pro XR and the Kuat Ibex for the 6' Tacoma bed. Not the 5' bed though. I would reach out to Kuat, they are very helpful.
  9. Trailhunter MPG

I took a day trip over Chinook Pass (5,430 feet) in Washington last weekend, that was my first tank at 20 mpg. Previous best was 19.2. I was getting 14-15 when I first got my truck in November. I am at 5,500 miles. It is getting better
  10. Retrax tonneau with bed rack?

Yes, I was getting both water and tons of dust. Part A - After some driving on some washboard dirt roads in Eastern Washington where there is still a fair amount of Mt Saint Helens volcanic ash, the back part of my bed was full of dust and it got all over my stuff. Also, the Retrax mounting...
  11. Trailhunter Switchback Fog Lights Part#

The only way to change the color from white/amber is the fog light switch. I know, I did not have that for the first 3 months. It was only white until I had the switch.
  12. Trailhunter Switchback Fog Lights Part#

I do not have that part number
  13. Trailhunter Switchback Fog Lights Part#

I turn my fog lights on/off with the headlight switch. The fog light switch changes the color from white to amber. The fog light switch itself changes color from white/amber so you can tell which color is on. Hard to see while driving though, way down at the bottom of the panel.
  14. Best T-slot Tonneau cover? Is it worthwhile to get one with T-slot?

In the state of Washington, we can hang fifteen feet beyond the center of the last axle with a red flag or light required. Since you brought this up, I better check any state that I may visit though. Those kayaks are inflatable, I could always deflate them like I always had to do with my...
  15. WeatherTech Floor mats, when??

When I have needed to replace the existing vehicle mats in the past, I have always used WeatherTech. I also had their stone and bug deflector on my Yukon XL, it was solid. When I got my TH, I went with WeatherTech for the bed mat and mud flaps. Their mud flaps did not fit the TH, they took them...
  16. Best T-slot Tonneau cover? Is it worthwhile to get one with T-slot?

Last summer when I made the decision to move from a Subaru Outback to the Trailhunter, I had a vision of moving my fishing kayaks from lake to lake with minimal time and effort. We had a beautiful 60 degree day on Saturday, so I finally got to test out my plan. The Trailhunter / Retrax XR / Kuat...
  17. Trailhunter Switchback Fog Lights Part#

I think I can help here given I have had to deal with what may be a unique issue pertaining to my fog light switch. A few weeks after taking delivery of my TH, I was learning how to use some of the features and realized my TH was not built with the correct light bar and fog light switches. Mine...
  18. OEM vs Aftermarket bed mat

I purchased the Weathertech Impactliner and my knees love it when I am back there working on stuff. Nothing slides around. I paid $215 a few months, now they are $319. Is this worth 3x the OEM or Lasfit? Probably not. If I was buying today, I would probably go OEM.
  19. Best T-slot Tonneau cover? Is it worthwhile to get one with T-slot?

Thanks @BearTacos. You will lose about 13" from the bed on top. You will have about 18" of height under the can, so, 18 x 13 for a storage stash. Also - given I did not want to electric version of the Retrax XR but wanted to open and close from the tailgate (given the side is now covered by the...
