I post pretty regularly on my truck build IG. I don’t think I’ve done a video dedicated directly to the turbo other than install, but it’s been great thus far.
You think that until you realize how easily your stock ones get bent on trails. Couple that with maintenance required for other options, and the versatility in the material - it’s easily the better choice.
What’s up guys! Lately I’ve gotten back into heavily modifying my Tacoma after taking a break when I sold my 3GT. Once I started looking at upgrades again, I knew rear upper and lower links were one of those mods that wasn't one of those eye catchers, but they were going to be needed any plans...
I knocked out the first gear oil change on the new setup. For anyone wondering, the recommended break-in period is about 300 to 500 miles, and after that you do the first fluid service. Since I drive a lot, I got through that break-in mileage pretty fast. I was already making a trip from...
100% they are. Once people realize how much work this takes out of doing multiple projects, and all that comes with it - it’s gonna be a favorite for many people.

After two full days of pulling the turbo, swapping hoses, clamps, and gaskets, and reinstalling everything, I finally narrowed the issue down to a coolant return hose from the turbo. It wasn’t directly connected to the turbo itself, but it runs very close to it.
That hose shouldn’t have been...
