That 100,000 mile service interval is under normal conditions, check/clean/replace as necessary. If you drive in the city you could probably get away with that service interval. If you live in the mountains with plenty of dirt roads and what not in the air, you will need to check much more often.
Magneson-Moss Act, its a federal law protecting consumers from car manufacturers denying warranties due to aftermarket parts. They have to prove that the issues were caused by your modifications.
I think I would demand a new truck with that crappy paint job. The amount of time/work it would take to properly sand, prep, paint that to factory specs isn't worth it.
Installed the RokBlokz High Clearance XL Mudflaps to hopefully help with protecting the paint since these trucks seem to get scratched just looking at it ?.
Ordered them from RokBlokz, and they where delivered in less than a week which was sweet. Install is pretty straight forward, as they...
I literally just bought the Carista EVO a few days ago just so I can turn that god awful alarm sound off. Now it's turned off, and never have to hear it again.
Drive it until the wheels fall off. I'm actually going to be purchasing a small off road trailer, and I'm going nomad style, and gonna live in the truck, and trailer for the foreseeable future. I'm done with paying other people mortgages.
Well if it won't shift into neutral, the tow truck driver could just disconnect the driveshaft to allow the truck to move.
These days there are some fancy tow trucks that have a like crane arm that just lifts it up onto the tow trucks flatbed.
Just installed the NYTOP dump exhaust. Took less than 10 minutes, and gets rid of that dump truck of an exhaust. Jacked it up from the hitch, and it goes nice and smooth. Little pricey, but the titanium, and the quality is worth it IMO.
Tried getting the trailhunter exhaust but it was gonna...
I know it's not an actual turbo timer, but these vehicles will ensure the turbo is cooled down before the fans, pumps, etc turn off even after you turn the off the vehicle. You could install an turbo timer if you felt like it, but i don't thinkits probablynecessaryon these trucks.
Every turbo car I have ever owned will automatically keep the fans going even after the vehicle is off to allow the turbo to cool, it's basically called a turbo timer. I've never idled my vehicles, my last turbo car went to 208,000 miles and i never idled the car. I've many friends who tune...
Installed the Baja Designs Squadron Pro ditch light kit, and used the Baja Designs upfitter harness for the Tacoma which makes it super easy. These things are bright, just have to wait till it gets dark to adjust them.
Sounds like you need to slow the f**k down...lol! Curious as to why you bought a tacoma if your driving 90 to 108mph pretty consistently it sounds like?
