yep, exactly. Mounted them tonight. They look fine. Just the way they are made to accommodate the shape of the truck it seems. It’s wild though because the predator tube step I removed has brackets they are totally straight. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I just received mine for a planned at home install, and all the mounting brackets are angled back. Of course the installation instructions are worthless and do not mention anything about re-alignment, so curious if anyone else encountered this. The bracket holes all appear straight/90 degree so...
I called my dealer a week ago, and they could see the end of March message, but there was still no ability to order, so it appears this is not happening (when they said) and there is some kind of delay.

I just installed my Smartcap yesterday. It's pretty sweet, but I feel like I'm going to pull the rear door seal off on the top tailgate cap lip opening/closing as it catches it pretty firmly. Anyone else concerned about this?
