Never got around to installing these, and recently upgraded my suspension, so now I do not plan on installing at all. Happy to pass on at a discount to someone who's Tacoma "gets driven vigorously off-road using the OE front coilover shocks" as Icon says these are good for :)

Michaels Toyota of Bellevue quoted $2,280 for 15 hrs labor only (not including parts).
Toyota of Seattle attempted to charge $2,700 for labor (+250 for alignment), until they agreed to match Bellevue as I wouldn't have gone to them to start with if I knew they were going to charge that...
I'm only 2 days in, but here are my initial thoughts:
-Expensive! The labor specifically got me, as my local dealer mis-quoted the labor involved, which turned into a somewhat stressful situation negotiating with them once they already had the truck. For a seattle area dealer install, you...
$50 OBO For Full Kit:
Front struts
Rear shocks
Rear coil springs
Upper control arms
Outer tie rod ends
lower steering knuckles
Kit would be a nice (and very affordable) upgrade for an SR5. See breakdown of suspension here:
Located in Seattle, but willing to drive ~25 min to drop off. Please...
THIS - I'm 6'4", and usually drive with the seat all the way back. A few weeks ago I accidentally actually engaged 4H while getting into the truck with my knee somehow rubbing it (pushing the button just right as I moved my knee and rotating the switch). I didn't realize until after I started to...
yep, exactly. Mounted them tonight. They look fine. Just the way they are made to accommodate the shape of the truck it seems. It’s wild though because the predator tube step I removed has brackets they are totally straight. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I just received mine for a planned at home install, and all the mounting brackets are angled back. Of course the installation instructions are worthless and do not mention anything about re-alignment, so curious if anyone else encountered this. The bracket holes all appear straight/90 degree so...
I called my dealer a week ago, and they could see the end of March message, but there was still no ability to order, so it appears this is not happening (when they said) and there is some kind of delay.
thanks for this write up. I've been playing with my camera as well, but wasn't sure if the connectivity issues and functionality was how I interpreted it (it is).
Yep- it is within 1/8" of the cab, and considered moving closer, but I think that is a bad idea. Smartcap customer service is sending me some thin pads to put underneath the rear most rubber blocks sitting on the bed rail to help elevate the rear very slightly to help minimize the issue. I'm...
I just installed my Smartcap yesterday. It's pretty sweet, but I feel like I'm going to pull the rear door seal off on the top tailgate cap lip opening/closing as it catches it pretty firmly. Anyone else concerned about this?
