About 6 hours after I drove my 24 Tacoma Sport, I noticed a noise like a small motor running as I walked by the tailgate. I got under with a creeper and determined that the noise came from a black box right above the passenger side of the spare tire. The noise continued for at least 5 minutes...
Does the 5.9 quarts include the oil left in the pan after draining? The drain outlet is above the actual bottom of the pan. This bothers me because so much dirty oil is left in the pan.
The Fumoto site shows the correct choice is F 133 N.
I'm awaiting an email from Fumoto to clarify before ordering.
Update: Fumoto states that the 133 is the update of the 103. The difference is a 33% larger bore for faster draining.
Yes, the odometer is needlessly confusing. My Venza has a button to cycle through Odom., Trip A and Trip B. So simple! The Tacoma does not even list odometer in the index so I have not been able to tell if it has Trip A & B.
I wanted to be sure before ordering a tailgate lock from McGard, so I contacted them. Their reply is attached. Does anyone know of a company that has a different solution?
