hmm, shops have been using impacts carelessly since forever, I would swap out the rings first. Iso one factor at a time. Then maybe even a different set of lug nuts.
its fine, fluctuates higher on acceleration, and mine sits just below half at idle. Also tells you theres oil in your system Lol, don't worry enjoy the truck
mine doesn't sound whiny like yours, but in really really cold weather it makes a louder than normal sound for like a few wipe cycles when started and then disappears a min or two later.

mine is a late Oct build and outside of TSB. No issues whatsoever. Actually quite smooth. I'm sure theres possibility that there could be outliers, and who are not on these or other forums, but no news is good news.
