Update on this, I had no such options to disable those warnings. If your fancy Carista evo obd scanner does please let me know and I'll try to borrow one from somebody
Upon doing some research it appears that the settings might only be changeable with the EVO scanner, I have a Veepeak and I'm not sure the app gives you all the options your screenshot is claiming.
Did you order an EVO scan tool and when does it arrive? Please let me know how using it goes!
No freaking way, I will go try this in a bit and get back to you!
I paid $30 for a year of Carista back in December because a month was $15, so maybe this will work to clear the issue!
I have an SR and it has all the same sensors as the TRD OR. Only differences are in the option packages of which I still have none...
Oh so they could have made the trucks better by not repeating the warnings and they didn't anyways, very cool!
I guess it's just part of the truck that it...
Not sure how effective silicon spray would actually be, it might just leech into the environment without doing anything useful.
I have to go chip off the snow layer this morning but also have to dig out the car. Oh well
I want to just make the warning go away while I'm driving, I'm not really able to stop every 30 minutes to clean off the sensor I just want to ignore it.
I am not using any of the features it's warning me about either by the way
So every time I drive in a snow storm the truck lights up with error messages and I cannot clear the warnings off of the cluster as they come right back. Is there a way to get them to go away? I am fully aware that adaptive cruise won't work when the radar sensor is covered thank you very much.
But it'll still play nicely with my existing TPMS in the other wheels? I don't want to have to note which wheel has "the sensor" in it and account for a pressure reading differential, or have issues with them not relearning properly. I'm probably willing to pay a bit more to make sure they match...
And these are all interchangeable? I have 3 OEM TPMS on the silver SR rims I have already, I just want to make sure they all 100% match.
I bought a set of take off wheels a few months ago because I needed a full sized spare and now I'm buying another wheel making them into my snow tire set, so...
Does anyone know if there is an equivalent Lexus part number for 42607-0E090? I am looking to buy one more sensor to complete my wheel set and the Lexus dealers usually have free shipping at the same prices.
I bought a take off wheel on ebay but I don't think it comes with TPMS unfortunately
No problem!
I have a pixel 6a and just assumed that the gps module in the phone was the issue. Didn't get to it today because I was too busy being hungry but I'll try and do it tomorrow!
Glad you enjoyed the manual teardown information, there is not much information on the 6 speed cars out...
Thank you for this tip, I have noticed that my GPS in Android Auto acts quite strange sometimes because the antenna is unplugged. Do we think that it's using the port as the "antenna" anyways instead of your phone's GPS? I will probably plug the GPS antenna back in this weekend when I have time...
Update on the towing thing,
I went to uhaul no problem and they gave me the trailer, I put in that we were towing a Miata since we did a Miata one day and the BMW the other. Truck handled fine, surge brakes worked well on the trailer and we left a very conservative braking distance. Definitely...
