    The oil filter on my OR is the same filter on my 2007 John Deere Gator with the 615cc gas engine. TINY. You bet I changed the oil and filter at 950 miles and will do the second one when the truck reaches 4k. Four to 5k miles thereafter. The 100k owners of 3.4L Tundra's with failing engines...

    I cut the bottom off a quart of Mobil 1. Fits just fine in the oil fill tube. No additional cost. Regarding the use of a shapeable funnel when removing the filter, good idea - I drained more oil from that area than I expected. I bought the cheapest one I could find on Amazon - works great...

    I purchased the Chinese knock-off several months ago. It works, but the struts must have been designed for a 60's Lincoln (with a monster hood) - way too powerful. I have to keep my hand on hood to keep it from "snapping" open. Worried about potential damage. Ya get whatcha pay for.........g
