For me, there were no engine codes. The tech at Toyota basically said he didn't know what else to do, and the reset was the next step. He also said the cause was my alignment being so far out, not the lift itself.
Sorry man. I tried disconnecting the battery as well, but it did nothing. There's some sensor calibration videos on YouTube and that was my next step if they couldn't fix it. But "hard reset" was all they said. I can tell you my dash was back to factory settings afterwards.
update:
I took the truck to the dealership this morning. They did a front alignment but that didn't clear the errors. They ended up needing to do a "hard reset" on the computer to clear it out.
When I was disassembling to remove the shock, I didn't think to index or mark the eccentric cam bolts...
I just got done installing the Traxda 1" front lift (preload collar type). It's Sunday so I won't be able to get the alignment done until tomorrow at the earliest. I drove it around the block and multiple warning lights came on. Anybody seen this before?
Oops... Forgot to post a pic!!
Thanks so much for the response. Your setup is EXACTLY what I'm wanting to do. What "ends" did you have to trim to fit the tonneau cover?
I just got my 2024 TRD Sport delivered. I'm looking at cargo dividers and there seems to be very little available at a reasonable price for the 4G.
Ideally something like this...
