  1. Tested: Best All-Terrain A/T Tires in Snow & Ice

The right Tires really are kind of a hard topic to agree on. Hard pack snow vs slushy vs refrozen icy. And then does the truck bed have any additional weight. Kind of need to buy for what the weather does in your area.
  2. Real-Life MPG Thread - Share Your 2024+ Tacoma 4th Gen's Gas Mileage! â›˝

25 Trailhunter operate with a light foot in adaptive mode I average 20.2 mpg. I’ll say my mileage has improved with time but that may be me learning this trucks shift points and coasting. Driving 60 - 65 is the sweet spot. If I drive 80 on the highway it drops to 17.
  3. ARB Sport Bar + tonneau cover combination -- how to have both (my solution)

Great thread. I considered keeping my ARB rack but took it off. I have the same tonneau cover as yours. Great combination on your part.
  4. Naturnest Sirius 2 Clamshell Rooftop Tent- Review

That Trailhunter was sure squatting with the bean and zombies under the tarp. I have a TH as well. I haven’t loaded it down other than a cooler and some tools. I’ve considered a heavier coil upgrade but haven’t yet.
  5. 4th Gen 2024+ Tacoma Aftermarket Wheels & Tires Pictures / Specs Compilation - Add Yours

Probably my favorite set up on this thread. I definitely like seeing the white letters out. I’m kind of over the blackout look.
  6. Surf Rod Holder

I like to break away for a little surf fishing as well. I have frontrunner bars over the reel trax bed cover. I mounted a snow board holder and run down the highway with the rods taken down.
  7. Trailhunter oil change without removing skid plate?

I did my first oil change on my trailhunter today. I removed the skid plate easy enough. I measured and cut my own opening for accessing the oil drain plug. I did wake the wife from a nap while running the cut off wheel. Switched the drain plug to the valvo-max. The oil filter comes off easy...

  9. My current MPG in my 25’ TrailHunter

I average 19.5 to 19.7 in my 25 trailhunter. Mostly small country roads and limited town driving. I did add an aluminum bed cover and front runner bed racks. They are short, below the roof line so there isn’t any real wind drag. I have been interested in everyone’s mileage experience. I’m in...
  10. Dobinsons Coil Springs installed on Trailhunter

I certainly appreciate the discussion. I too am a noob. I noticed I have a 1/2 inch drop from my passenger side to the driver side after reading this thread. I may get a set of coils. Seems they are a better option than a bump stops. I don’t load very heavy much but all my fishing gear and...
  11. Any Build Regrets On Your Tacoma?

I enjoyed reading everyone’s comments. I went back and forth between the off road and trailhunter packages. I wound up on the trailhunter because of the availability and color at the time. None of the dealers had OR packages with the premium packages. I took off the chase bar and added the...
