Right? If I lock the doors, even with the manual button on the door, while the fob is in the truck and shut the door, it automatically unlocks. Thus my frustration and confusion. :D

You're not entirely wrong. The keys and/or phone are in the truck when this happens. However, the door isn't locking when I grab the door handle. It's already locked. I've used the "touch the handle to lock it" as I've walked away with the keys in my hand. I can hear the locking mechanism engage...

I'm running into a situation where the driver's door on my '25 Tacoma just randomly locks. I've had the truck for about three weeks and it's happened a handful of times. It's not consistent and it does it with my keys and phone in the truck. Example: Stop to get gas, get out of truck & shut door...
