I don't think so. But it will probably stop me from switching to smoked rear lights because of how bright they would be in comparison.
I like them overall, although they're WILDLY bright when in reverse.
This is awesome. I keep thinking about adding something carbon fiber to the truck or my Harley, but the cost vs actual gain in anything other than looks holds me back... mostly because they're already both black.
The carbon on this color looks so solid. Genuinely envious. Great choices.
I like the hitch slider a lot. Super nifty little thing that helps with the jarring hit the hitch takes every now and then.
As for the sliders, this is really good to know. I'd hoped they'd been built in a similar style to the other competitors out there, but I guess I'll need to look into...
This post has been a long time coming for me, so here we are. I'll probably never run out of things I want to do to it, but at least I've got it ready for the trails now.
Huge shoutout to Chassis Unlimited for hooking me up with a discount on the bumper in exchange for showing it off a bit...
I appreciate the help. Maybe I'll just throw them up on FB market place here for like $200 and see if anyone bites, because shipping them sounds like a huge pain.
I just changed mine out, and I'm wondering if I should just get rid of them, or if they're worth giving to a buddy to trying to sell. I can't seem to find any information on the difference or compatibility with the other models anywhere.
All of the mods listed in the original post have been completed. Updated photos coming soon!
I also managed to get a nasty scrape on the hood and down the passenger side while riding through some brush (off-trail). Glad my orbital sander doubles as a buffing/polishing tool. Wouldn't be doing it...
I know I'm being obnoxious, but it still has a terrible logo at the bottom.
I even considered going up in how much I'd spend and considered Addicted Desert Design, but they said it won't work with the stock skid plate and want $600 for theirs. ?
After completely reading this (and not just skimming like the first time), I'm unsure if I want to go this route. How frustrating. The inability to bolt the bottom of the bumper you mentioned makes me nervous.
I wish there were more options for simple bumpers like this. Every other company...
I'm new to wiring my own electronics, but have a couple of different lights either ordered or on my list. I've read there are some limitations to what you can use the AUX buttons with without modifications for larger lights.
Can someone explain this to me and tell me what I need to look into if...
The springs listed are for front and back. They have various different levels for whether you want them for more weight (for example people who add huge campers to the back of a their truck and don't want sag).
Ignoring weight, the Trailhunter already has a small lift, so this should lift it...
