Wow, a 35 gal replacement tank seems unlikely to me. I've spent a little time under my truck and while I do think a larger tank is easily plausible, but doubling the size seems extremely optimistic without doing a split tank.
I've had my 2025 for 1 year and 11k miles. There are so many things that make this truck great but there are two things that I'd love to change about this truck:
1. delete the power tailgate - its overly complicated to satisfy safety concerns and its an unnecessary "upgrade"
2. larger gas tank
Those look great and seem like a perfect choice. I went with 265/70r18 Ridge Grappler SL and they are doing great but the G3 was a close 2nd place for me. I'll probably go with G3 next time due to the quieter ride. I also like the sidewall choice you went with..... every similar to the RG...
These are like new SSR-634-40 and I ran these on my truck for only 4k miles until added a mild lift with All Dogs front and rear springs. These were great with stock height if you tow or haul weight because it prevents severe rear end sag while maintaining the factory ride when unloaded. Comes...
I didn't. I measured and my rear wheels are within 1/8" of each other when measuring from the fender flares. This means my rear axle is within 1/16" from center. I find this insanely close. Any other reason kind of sounds like a sales pitch, but I could be missing something.
Sorry for delayed response. Honestly, I'm still happy with the All Dogs Springs. The ride is great. I do wish the rear wasn't quite a high but the load capacity is substantially higher than the stock lift springs and THAT is a HUGE win. In stock form, my truck used to squat pretty bad with...
Looks great. But I too prefer a little rake, mainly for when I'm hauling stuff. I also have a non hybrid and did front and rear ADO springs at once and am very happy. The rear is a little higher than I'd like and I still consider cutting 1/3 or 1/2 of a coil off the rear to drop it down a...
I ran these for 5k miles without any issues whatsoever. Smooth ride as stock. But I'm swapping to wheels that I don't need them. These are perfect for OEM wheels. Perfect condition in original boxes with instructions. I'll include photos with them on my truck. $100 shipped for most states. If...
I did All Dogs front and rear springs all at once and am happy with them. The rear provides a substantial upgrade from the stock springs. I did a post about it on Tacomaworld showing before and after photos with m 550lbs ATV in the bed. Link is here...
This is a like new VF Tuner CAN cable and adapter. I bought it new with the DIY KDMaxx tune for my 3rd gen. Only used it a few times and no issues. This cable, along with VF Tuner(free download to your computer) and the tune files(purchase from Yotaworx or OTtune will allow you to load...
I ended up going with All Dogs Offroad springs front and rear because it was predictable. I still think the hybrid spring will work and if someone can get them cheap enough, its probably a good option for a mild 1" lift.
