The only one I'm not sure is hub, I beleive it's 95.10. My after market wheels came with a centering ring from 106 wheel to hub 95.10. It went inside the Fuel Wheel, before mounting on vehicle. Most aftermarket wheels come with a larger diameter for the center (hub).
Also the oem lug nuts...
I have 18x9 with +20 offset, but using 275/70R18. Full turn, I can fit my finger between tire and fender. Just enough for flexing the suspension on the street, but I wouldn't want to go baja driving with that little spacing.
I have dueler ascent, but in 275/70 r18. They are a little heavier than stock, no humming, rolls good around corners. Got them from costco, not cheap $318 each, free balance/ install. 60k warranty. Lost 2mpg from stock.
It's happen to me a few times in 6 months. My only extra weight is tires about 15lbs/tire. From a stopped position turning either left/right and taking off slowly. There is a 1 second stutter, but never turns off. ICE engine on, but hybrid hasn't kicked in to help. Feels like the truck is...
Thank you everyone for the input. Only thing that works to keep ice engine on.
1) put it in tow mode, this will deactive some sensors or
2) put the gear shifter to the left in sport mode and move the gears to 8.
When I drive in stop/go traffic for 30 minutes, I use option 2. I can't beleive...
Is there a way to keep the ICE engine on all the time and the hybrid kick in only when you need extra power. I hate it when driving in traffic and every time you stop the engine cuts off.
I have bridgestone a/t dueler 275/70 r18 on a limited, no issues, stock suspension. I had oem wheels, then upgraded to fuel 18x9 +20 offset. No humming at highway speed. Check weight of what tire you want. E rated tires are usually heavy and you'll loose 2 mpg.
Your first oil change will have the most metal in it. The engine being new will shave metal anywhere two parts touch each other and are in motion constantly (microscopic like powder). You can't see it in the oil with the naked eye. There are companies that analyze your oil and send you a...
Some tonneau covers don't account for the curved edge at the front of the bed. If you stand on the side of your truck and look across the back glass, you'll notice the bed is not perfectly straight across. The tailgate not closing has to do with installation as the cover needs to be adjusted...
I have a 25 Limited hybrid. There is a noticeable engine engagement, but not a clunk. If I'm driving in traffic, I'll put it in tow haul mode so it doesn't turn off the engine. Also after a long highway drive, before getting off the highway, I'll put it in tow haul so the engine doesn't turn...
Rolling Resistance:
The wider the tire and the tread compound determines the resistance of the tire to roll. A highway tire (stock on sport) and an AT tire do not roll the same. AT tires and mud tires don't roll as smooth. They are designed to grip on gravel/mud. I had K02 on my F150 and...
The sport offroad and limited are about the same height. I have limited using bridgestone dueler at 275/70 R18. Lost 3 mpg from stock on highway. I also have wider rims fuel rebel 18x9 +25 offset. Stock no rubbing. Rims were about 400 a piece. You can get oem used trd rims much less.
The front of the bed has a curve. Stand on the side of the truck and look down the rear glass, the bed itself curves a little. I used Roll N Lock and they account for that, a little pricey 1000 installed.
The first time I ceramic coated a car, I paid 400, watch how they did it, took a picture of the coating. I now do it myself. I use the 3yr graphene ceramic from dura coating. They also have videos how to apply it (always in the shade and don't wash the car for a week after applying)...
I have 25 hybrid. When you put it in reverse if you're not perfectly stopped, there is a clunk in the trans. I notice it when parking backwards and reverse is accomplished with the electric motor (engine off). No other issue on trans. Truck came with 265/65 R18, I went up 33 with 275/70 R18...
The OEM Micheline Primacy tires are probably the best for mpg.
Rolling Resistance
Highway tires roll better than mud tires or all terrain tires. Think of a chuck wagon going down the street next to your taco. Which rolls better?
Unsprung Weight
This is the weight at the axle where the wheel...
I have a 2025 Limited. I beleive it's a little higher than the sr5. I'm using Fuel Rebel 6 wheel 18x9 and +20 offset. The tires are 275/70 R18. When turning the wheel, I have 1 finger space before hitting the crash bar or front wheel well. That's half an inch. I drive on the street 99.99%...
