I'm looking at getting a tri-fold bed cover, particularly the Rough Country one, for my TRD OR Premium. Has anyone used this bed cover with the power close tailgate? I read somewhere that people were having issues with the powered tailgate closing correctly when they had a bed cover on.

Yes, it’s the section of the island before the Port Mansfield cut. You have to enter through Park Rd 22 running through Corpus Christi. There’s about 60 miles of shoreline you can drive down. It’s a ton of fun driving through the soft sand if you’ve never done it before!

Finally got a chance to take my TRDOR out and get it dirty. Drove about 30 miles down the beach and never doubted the truck for a moment. Lots of loose sand and debris made for a good time wheeling.

I’ve only done 6 fill ups on mine so ymmv, but I’m sitting at 21.7 average per tank and 22.6 best per tank.
