I like it a lot, with the rubber grommet on the fender inlet it is virtually silent but with it removed it makes some good noises. Ive been driving with it removed but will slide it in (takes a minute at most) whenever i go to hit the trails

Its pretty a pretty common thing from what i understand, as izzy said just run up the gears in 4-low and you'll be fine. I will say though I'm going to get a trans cooler whenever someone releases one because i dont always need that gear reduction when going slow in 4wd
