Fantastic threat, man. And very informative. I'm going down this rabbit hole and can't seem to get any straight answers. My local shop says they can't run 1/0 cable through the door sills and interior trim. They are pushing for me to use a 2AWG kit. I have tried to explain physics to them and...
Thanks for checking it out! Yeah, the longer bed would definitely a liability on crawling. But you'll still crush 90 percent of camping/overlanding situations.
Thank you, Ben! And yes, I think you could do probably 90 percent of that loop, just avoid the turnouts to Presidential Steps and Anaista Ledges and you'll be golden!
Hey there, quick question... I saw that there's some conflicting info on the RCI website regarding fitment of the trailing arm skids and the shock skids and the Trailhunter. You can confirm fitment?
Thanks, Tacorancher! I appreciate you checking it out. And you're absolutely right, a nice set of 37s would do a lot to level the playing field. But that being said, as a former Bronco owner, I love the Trailhhunter so much more. No regerts!
Agreed! Those look great. But I wonder about fitment. The Trailhunter and TRD Pro have very different set ups when it comes to the shocks, and most rear shock skids require spacers on the wheel, which is a deal breaker for me.
yo tacorancher... are you getting any tire wear? did you ever get a straight answer? I cooked a brand new set of Goodyears with outer edge wear, and they blamed the Westcott collar. I've been two two shops and they can't seem to agree on how to align this thing.
I had the exact same thing start happening to me after installing the Wescott lift collar on the front. I had it done at a reputable off-road shop but I think they used the wrong specs on the alignment. Sadly the shop is trying to blame it on the tires, which are Goodyear Territory MTs. Taking...
The look isn't bad at all. Curious to see your results. It would be great if it somehow the air dam could use a quick-release system for when the truck goes off-road.
