Makes sense, my idea was to steal a bit of the power from the rest of the system and give it to the tweeters to improve the highs by dropping the ohm rating of the tweeters a bit. Might’ve made it a bit better but nothing significant.

Same, I swapped my tweeters but still lacking in mid/high. Wondering if also swapping the 3.5’s would do anything or I need to add an amp too.

Very nice. Whats the price range for a set of trd pro headlights? I want to upgrade mine in the future as well and wonder what the light output difference is between the trd pro and alpharex sets.

I don’t care for them either, still haven’t decided if I want to remove it though.

Painted a few feet of the exhaust up to the muffler. Used Eastwood high temp satin black. We’ll see how it holds up through the winter.

Do you happen to have the source where they say the stock speakers are 2 ohms? I couldn’t find anything so could use that information if it’s a certainty. But yes the tweeters I put in are 3 ohms. I’d rather not mess with the stock amp, unless there’s something that’s fairly easy to install...

Replaced the stock tweeters in my 2025 trd sport which has the JBL system. Added the JBL Stadium 192T 3/4" tweeters using the Metra 72-8110 harness. The new JBL speakers came with a passover which im not sure if I needed, but I soldered them to the Metra harness, otherwise it's plug & play...
