If I had to guess, it’s fiberglass like a Snugtop. Installing the control box was interesting but worth it. Everything unlocks with the truck. ARB support was very helpful. If you run into any hiccups, feel free to reach out. If I know you’re working on it all be more attentive too.
Contact Cap-itLangley location. +1 604-857-1211. They were super helpful.
I had the Leitner rack on my 3rd gen, Smartcap on this one, then the ARB. Smartcap was trash in comparison. Leitner was bomb proof but feel like you lose a lot of space and dust. I’m VERY happy with the ARB now that it’s...
Haha, haven’t finished taking off the stickers. They’re not like the old ones that are easy to remove. New ones are different type and much harder to remove.
There are not. I had to buy it in Canada because the US shipments were delayed and Cap-it was required to install it. Wouldn’t let me do it. It was more work than I expected, but only took them a couple hours and it was there first one. I think the biggest shock was having to sand down the bed...
I FINALLY got everything in and put together. There were a couple of headaches along the way.
Almost every photo that ARB posted on their website, as well as social media, with the Ascent Canopy Base Rack shows that the rack length is the same as the canopy and no longer.
These are from...
Thanks for looking. I have done the same. The one listed as appropriate is 61 long x 46 wide. The width is not a problem, and could be wider, it's the length which I believe needs to be in the 50" range. I called ARB this morning and was asked to send an email to the tech email. I'll update as I...
After seeing the ARB ascent canopy at Sema, I sold my smart cap as ARB had projections of having things available in the United States over the winter. ARB pushed the availability until spring/summer 26. I ordered the stated “proper fit“ for my 2025 Tacoma ascent canopy according to arb.com. I...
Air bags are definitely not the way to go if you are off-roading. They do not allow your vehicle the ability to flex. Air bags are meant for the road when driving a road with varying weights. NOT off-road. Your vehicle needs to be able to flex and torque when off-road, hence the purpose of a spring.
Wondering if anyone has found a harness for wiring new BJD lights directly into the current fog harness? I don't want to use an aux switch for my fogs. I got my C4 bumper and SAE lights, but I'm trying to find the best way to tie into the fog switch without splicing.
Hey gents, joining this conversation a little late. Thanks to @andrewleader for linking me into it. As I'm looking over everyone's differences with springs, the one thing I'm noticing is that no one is mentioning any difference between hybrid and non-hybrid. The reason I mention this is that if...
@Pappy How did this all work out? I'm looking at ADO and want 1" of lift. I'm going to have 175lb up front and about 500lb in the rear on a hybrid Tacoma, think that's about 900lbs in the rear from non-hybrid.
Sorry, can you confirm you have the C59-821V Springs! (55mm - 2.25") 440-660lb Load / (30mm - 1.25") with 880-1210lb Load doesn't line up with what you're getting for ride height, so I'm trying to make a decision on which springs. I also have a hybrid, which I know adds weight, so I'm really...
@andrewleader Do you use stock shocks with the Dobinsons or did you upgrade? I'm currently running 500lbs in the rear, 700 when my RTT is on, but I'm also installing a C4 bumper, winch, and lightbar up front and having a hard time finding a spring that works with the stock shock. I plan on doing...
I cancelled it and am trying a completely different route. I done need all the extra weight and want security for my RTT.
I ordered 2x Leitner crossbars. Cost was about $400, much stronger, easier to adjust and can use security nuts to ensure my RTT won’t be walking off. Supposed to be...
I have the Sherpa ordered as of yesterday. I went 48” to match the lines of the Rainier. I have a RTT I’ll be putting on top, but was looking for the same info you are. I’ll update if I find any info.
