There is something about that area under the gas pedal. There was just a post about Michelin floor mats and the same cutout is there for those mats.

I installed my hood struts today. Very easy, just needed an assist to hold the hood without prop rod while I snapped the struts in place. My hood is about 10 lbs heavier than normal because I added Siless sound/vibration/heat insulation behind the OEM hood pad. These struts have no problem...

My Lasfit mats do have the space under the gas pedal, but I don't put my foot in that area.

I understand this frustration. I had 2 prior vehicles take road debris hits to the AC condenser within the first 6 months of owning each. I don't know why manufacturers don't put some sort of protective screen in front. It's an expensive repair to have to make.

I did this on my MT truck, using the Amazon parts and leaving the middle connector plugged in. So far I notice no negative effects. With the connector housing of the Amazon cable removed, I have some doubts that the cables will stay connected to the unit so I'm looking into a replacement...

I use the hardwired connection because there are areas I regularly drive through that have enough EMI to disrupt the Bluetooth link. For the connection location for the 14" screen, this cable is almost perfect for connecting, looping around the back, and plugging into my phone with an added 90...

I like the visual too. I would rather have the cameras and do my maneuvering by sight rather than a sensor that may not have consistent distance sensing all the way around the truck. I make significant use of the mirrors too.

I normally don't like a lot of technology stuff in my vehicles, and usually would be happy with no screen at all. It would take more than PFF to protect my truck though if I had to park it without cameras and a big ol' screen to show me how close I'm getting.

I have the 14" screen. I think it's great for viewing the cameras for parking lots. The edges of this truck are really hard for me to judge, so seeing the cameras on a big screen really helps. The 14" screen really should have more capability to split the display and choose what's shown than it...

After seeing this installation, I gave these steps a try. I had the predator steps, but I feel those steps are mounted too far forward. These steps are an improvement. Not the exact position I was hoping for but definitely better.
