Found the part number. Funny enough, they are called anti rattle springs. Took the pad pins out. Cleaned and greased them. Installed the additional springs. No more rattling. Quiet ride
Pictures are part number, before and after install.
Anyone know the part number for the lower brake pad spring/retainer? Getting some serious brake pad rattle over sharp bumps. Not sure if you can buy this separately. It usually comes with new pads.
Had the same issue with my 4runner. Threw an extra spring on the top slide pin along with some...
I had looked into this as well. Seems like there is only 1 clock spring available. Just not sure about the heated wheel button. If it's just the button (and if there is a wire behind it) or you need to replace the entire climate assy.
Could be as easy as wheel, and button.
Not yet. Still breaking it in. Only smell it when moving it short distances. Like moving it into the shop once I get to work.

Mine also does this. Also clunks when switching out of 4wd back to 2wd more so when stopped. Started switching down to 2wd when coasting. Don't think I've heard it clunck switching into 4wd. Non-hybrid, if that makes any difference.
