    Emergency puck light available from most hardware store for 1/6 the cost. This has been covered before. Also much better camping lanterns can be had for less than $60.
  8. How important is the 14” screen?

    There are a few third party companies making 14ā€ displays that are plug and play. Volume adjustment relies on steering wheel. Personally I’m good with my 8ā€ screen. Maybe in 10 years when I still have the thing I’ll ā€œupgradeā€ for a change of scenery but it’s not a priority for me

    FYI the Meso appears to be the exact same product with a brand name markup. If that’s the case it’s possible their wiring could be jacked up as well. YMMV

    It’s not a huge deal, just gotta switch up a few wires if it’s not working properly. Just a pain in the balls more than anything.

    on the end that plugs into the vehicle I just started switching wires. You can very very carefully bend the tabs and remove each wire from the white plastic part just be super careful. When I first installed it, it would not go on/off with the doors, only when you pressed a button. So I had to...

    If done properly, cerakote would last. Are you able to link some of those posts when you get a chance? I’m curious to see how these bastards are stealing our stuff.

    In theory a proper cerakote is 9H rated which means ain’t nothing scratching it but I get what you mean. Plus it’s cheaper and easier to work 6061
