It just generic labelling for software, either way for me they replaced the whole 4x4 actuator and slew of other components related to it and changed the oil for it, it took awhile cause they had to order parts 2 times! If you have thus issue it is no glitch, get it fixed while under warranty...

I am going through exact same thing, when i try to use 4x4 system goes haywire, needs to be put in 2wd and turned off for 10 minutes at least, come back and can drive, but no 4x4 available anymore, contacted dealer.
