Auto Stop/start ?

I think I have watched every single video so far on YouTube on the Tacoma. Not one video mentions if it has Auto Stop start technology.

So, my(obvious) question is, would the 2024 Tacoma ( particularly the gas version ) have this ?

That's what I'm hoping - that it doesn't. My current truck (2023 Pro4x) does and quite annoying.

When the system in my Nissan works, it's okay but what becomes annoying is that sometimes I come to a stop, it'll shut off and instantly turn back on and that happens half of the time! Talk about unnecessary wear / tear!

Come to think of it, my dad has the latest model of Tundra and it does this. I think you can turn it off though.

Oh that's good! Just wish it stayed off when you start up the vehicle lol

I can't see any reason it will not have it. I think the reason why the button has not been seen is that every video I can find where you get an in-depth look at the inside has been a hybrid. By nature the hybrid should go to the battery anytime at a stop and make the button obsolete.

It's the A with the circular arrow around it and OFF below it. The button press is just in the shot where you can see it.

Not sure but at a minimum 4L should.

Oh I see it now. Okay that basically confirms that the gas models do have the ability to turn it off. Thanks everyone
