Picked up this older Thule Bed rack with locking adjustable uprights. Model xt422. No mounting kit available so I made up some simple L shaped aluminum brackets. They overlap the rack base and clamp to the truck bed rails. Will also be clamping the brackets to the rail slots with 5mm ss bolts. Solid as a rock and rated to support over 500 lbs. currently holding my Thule hullavator pro kayak rack. Lots of potential with this rack. Very happy wth this $150.00 investment.
