Hello everyone. Finally got my Trailhunter grill in from Toyota. Took about six weeks to get everything. I printed the camera bracket posted here and ordered the light bar brackets from TacoGarage. A little unnerving, but in the end worth it. For now I wired the DRL lights using a fuse tap on a circuit that only runs with accessory. The top light bar is from CaliRaised and had it's own wiring harness, and the Heretic bar is wired into the Aux Ports. I will be adding a new relay/fuse panel so I can put these on Dedicated switches. Also using an Aux button for my side lights.

NICE! You added the "other" fang lights that I mentioned (on another post). These definitely make the truck look sharper, a lot better than the original design AND they're much cheaper! :like:

Yeah, I saw those and thought they looked better. Also cheaper. I haven't hooked in the signal lights yet. Not entirely sold on that, but will probably do it in the next few days. I can always unhook them again I suppose.

Did you have to recalibrate the front camera?

Which fuse did you wire the fang lights in to?

No, just plugged it in. Make sure you don't put it in upside down. You can see a little distortion on the 360 camera, but hardly noticable.

I just used a circuit tester and found a fuse that was active. May have been the Grill Shutter. Probably going to try to find another, but that works. Only thing is it randomly turns on when the car is off. It goes off in a few minutes, but it's weird.

I’m having the same issue with it randomly turning on at least once at night that I know of when I come home from work. I used the ign fuse with add a fuse. Now I’m wondering if it happens every time I turn off truck. Never noticed it until Saturday now looking back at my security cams at home it’s been doing this.

I feel like there's something that happens that cycles through something on accessory. I didn't notice it until I was out camping and suddenly my lights came on. Happened at Deer Camp last week too. So far so good and no battery issues. I will eventually revisit this, but it's not a priority right now.

I'm sold. Anyone done this with the baja designs s8 or a onx6? I run baja everywhere else and I've always had good luck so I'd rather not change. How much modding was there to get it to fit and does it look good after the tweaks? Could you share a pic of the camera distortion?

The reason I went with heretic is that the brackets are available through taco garage. Each bar would be a different design for the mounting bracket. It’s also a 20 inch bar rather than an 18. The 18 looks OK, but I prefer the 20s since it fills up the whole space.. I think there’s kids out there, but I’m not sure. When I did mine, it was much cheaper just to get an oem grill and source the light bar separately. Also don’t forget about a camera bracket.
