I just installed the Magnaflow Overland exhaust on the 2024 Trailhunter Hybrid. Out the box, it doesn’t fit our Hybrid models. But as I discovered, all you need to do is extend the section closest to the downpipe by about 3-4” so the quarter wave chamber will clear the transfer case actuator. I’m guessing cause the hybrid models have the electric motor sandwiched between the engine and transmission bell housing and it looks to be a similar thickness. Im not sure why Magnaflow doesn’t include an extension piece.
Since I have the Trailhunter, I choose to only use the mid section and have the same type of dump pre-axle. If you’re installing the full tailpipe, I’m not sure if you’ll need to reduce its length since the front section was extended 3-4”.
The exhaust was exactly what I was looking for. It’s quiet with normal driving, only slightly noticeable over the factory exhaust, and you can certainly hear it at full throttle. It has a good tone and sounds great for an inline 4, doesn’t resonate on the freeway. Presumably it flows and makes more power than stock.
Planning to add a few more performance mods in the near future
