January 29, 2026 was the morning I picked up this new Supersonic Red baby from Hesser Toyota in Janesville, Wisconsin.

The main sales manager was Shelton Tripp. This truck was reserved in December of 2025 in transit (not yet in dealer stock) from factory to port to train to auto carrier truck to Hesser. I put $500 down on credit card to hold the truck.

This truck, according to Hesser, was produced exactly on December 17, 2025 at one of the two Mexican plants.

it’ll be a long road to any subscribers, good luck!
It doesn't make me a penny richer or poorer whether somebody subscribes to my channel or hits the like button or not. And yes, the small depression top dead center on the silver-colored trim bezel surrounding the a/c control panel is a feature common to each and every such part on each and every truck in the 4th Gen Tacoma line whether you have a base model, an SR5, a TRD Pro or a even a Trailhunter. The common production injection mold leaves its mark, like a territorial alpha male dog lifting his leg to christen your Tacoma tires, on every new copy minted. The mold pays no mind to whatever truck the baby part that it gives birth to goes in. I don't know the logistics behind the mold design for this particular component.

Our new vehicles must meet the federal safety and EPA bureaucracy of Uncle Sam, meet certain price points and the human emotion and pure joy behind the steering wheel has been seriously undermined. Our cars now are a pure necessary evil to get our errands run. They are no longer joyful freedom machines for pleasing Sunday drives to the beach. The Golden Era of the Enjoyable Automobile was the 1950's and 1960's. Plastic cheesiness abounded in the 1970's with hard plastic chrome-painted radiator grilles that snapped like bread sticks when they hit a dog on the road. Yes, even my mother's December-1975-built E-5 Corolla wagon had such plastic grille but the interior with vinyl seats was still neatly fashioned by hand in Japan. That car even had genuine metal chrome door handles inside and out and real metal chrome bumpers at either end of the body. Front engine rear drive standard.

You must all think us Boomers hail from another galaxy. Yes, being an American Boomer, I hail from the Age of Ford Galaxie. There was a man way back from TW who demanded I make a video or a selfie with me, my dog and my truck in it. If he should follow me here, I have now succumbed to his wishes. TW gave me the boot there for good. It hurt their parts for an old Boomer like me to be too critical of modern automobiles or be critical or praising of certain nations that make, or once made, our consumer products.

Your persistence with very much inappropriate and strange behavior got you the boot from the forum. Be honest because hundreds of other active members who criticize Toyota and a lot more didn't get that same action. You violated the forum rules consistently. A few forum members gave you respectful and sincere advice for problems you brought up or exposed. You did not make good choices with that.

Your showing a young dog in the back with a muzzle is some more evidence that your behavior is not a boomer sort of thing. A muzzle should only be a safety tool, and that is not an appropriate place or use. More red flags knowing your breed of dog is almost always biddable.

If only for your dog, change and/or get some help.

I need to protect the back seat area of my new ride from Gustav's sharp teeth. He is never muzzled except in my truck or another vehicle or out on leash for potty breaks and walks. I don't want dead mice or other dead animals in his mouth. The muzzle is soft rubber which both protects his face and automobile interiors. It is a basket style with plenty of breathing/panting open space.

Over here at these web pages, I've learned to cool it. I think that other site kicked me out for lack of "woke-ness" in my words. If I come across as sounding un-woke here, please let me know. Watch the film Blazing Saddles, 1974, Mel Brooks, Gene Wilder, Slim Pickens, Harvey Korman, Dom Deluise for some totally old-fashioned "non-politically-correct" American Hollywood humor. And if you really want a racial laugh, try Gene Wilder, Ned Beatty and Richard Prior in 1976's Silver Streak.

Being self aware and realizing the world is a big diverse place and following privately owned forum rules = "woke".

But getting banned from 2 forums for obvious racist/bigoted comments means you aren't "woke".

Got it.

No one cares you are a boomer, no one. You got banned from TW for reasons other than being critical of Toyota, you know that.

Oh and BTW, I am also dimple free.

Be honest. The consistency of your behavior and lack of discipline towards self and others earned what you got. Being a boomer has nothing to do with it. I know if only for being older than you and a life of managing my own issues plus other people.

With a lot of experience raising good dogs including your breed, ours a month younger than yours had appropriately sized cages in early weeks and months part of good training, but never required your inappropriate use of a muzzle. You have choice for inappropriate behavior your dog doesn't get.

At least consider proper training and behavior with your dog if you cannot pull it off for yourself. Inappropriate use of a muzzle is never okay. Your dog breed is famous for being biddable breed. At 17 months old it should not need or have what you are doing. Be fair and decent to the dog if you cannot be honest with yourself.

But he NEVER uses a muzzle, except in the car, on a walk, going potty, on a leash. Otherwise never. Poor dog...

Honestly seeing that dog in the back with a muzzle made me say "what the ****." What are you thinking my guy? Train your dog and it won't bite/chew up your interior.
