And a reminder to leave a little bit of rake if you keep oem springs and plan to use the bed for anything at all. This is with just a set of OEM wheels in the back - dropped almost an inch.

Winter prep begins in the fall.

Goodyear Winter Commands in the stock SR, 245/70/17 size. Didn't really want the E-Load rating, but TireRack had them on close-out for really cheap because they've been replaced by the Winter Command Ultra. The OEM steelies were bought from my local dealer.

Installed some seat covers I got from another forum member. Not the long term goal of a 1794 Taco, but they look great. Install wasn't bad either:

Used a Rotopax universal mounting plate and an extra load bar from Alucab to mount a 4 gallon fuel can as a back up when we head out west in a few weeks. The holes that I used to attached to the load bars had to be drilled by me and then repainted.

OEM cover does not allow any type of bed rack. No other folding hard top cover flips up towards the cab so that the entire height of the bed can be used for hauling pallets, etc. So, I decided to go with a cheap soft cover, which will allow me to install a bed rack when needed, and roll up tight tightly to allow me access to the full height of the bed.

Last couple things happening this week. 4Runner lights arrive Monday. Switchback 2.0 in a couple weeks. Still unsure about the flares.

Not sure a hood swap is gonna happen. I've even left notes on some trucks zero bites

Thanks dude ! Just snagged that PBJ from my buddy brand new for $1100. We have a ton of sweet pump tracks and jump parks up here.

So I looked at those flares but by the name of AJT. I really like the look! I was a little concerned about the 3M adhesive being the only way they are secured to the truck. But idk, I might sell these and get those. They look really good.

Heck yeah! I haven’t road hard tails in a few years. I’m on full suspension bikes these days.

We will see how the 3M holds up. I’ve seen people use 3M with success on 3G taco SR5 with OR flares with the clips removed.
