On my way home with the new Raptor I stopped at convenience store in Greensburg KS.
I snapped a pic of the new Raptor parked in the same spot I had parked my 2010 1st of the first gen Raptor 6.2L, we were on our way to Colorado to do some 4 wheeling.

I lightly smoked my 3rd brake light yesterday and ordered around $600 worth of parts. Then I remembered that I still haven't ordered the j-brace kit yet.

Lots of close up pics in my tire thread. Front crash bars are tight.
I thought I was good, but after some testing late yesterday, it does have a rub in reverse with steering cranked. It seems fine in drive, only seem to be getting that rub in reverse.
I need to do a little more investigation, but I am betting it is rubbing on the front crash bar, which looked like it might be removable like how they are removed on the SAS Bronco’s.

Put in a decked system for my Ranger Raptor. Worked great.

I put the decked in mine as well. Did you have trouble with getting the tie downs off with the spray? did you also have an issue with the length of the hooks on the decked?
I struggled with these and dont know if it was me or not.

Yes. I hammered in a T40 to get the hooks off. It wasn’t fun but made it through.
The turnbuckle length was challenging but got it to work. You just had to unscrew them all the way so there were no threads extended into the center of the turnbuckle.
The instructions said there were long and short ones, but all mine were the same size. Biggest issue was the tailgate side tiedowns.

Hauled my old Colorado rack into a fab shop for some modifications to make it fit the Ranger , turns out most of the dimensions are similar but bed length of the Colorado’s is 5-6” longer so we have to cut down the side rails.
Make a few other tweaks while we at it since it’s going to need to get re-powder coated after the mods,

Finally got my tonneau cover on.

I installed my aftermarket Homelink Garage Door opener. I somehow scuffed the panel above my switch a little bit, but oh well.

I used an Add-a Fuse on the circled fuse. It's only hot with ignition on. I grounded it to the metal bracket just to the right of the fuse box.

On a side note. Someone on here was asking where the SecuriCode card was. It's on the fuse block. I didn't order the SecuriCode option, but I guess they include it in case you add it later.

Thanks, mine 3.0 V6 TD in Brzail is about to arrive within few days and I now know which fuse use to install my dashcam!!

I think that only applies if you buy like a topper or bed cover or something that requires them to be added from Ford.

Also done:

- 1st oil change, was fun
- Rival4x4 Engine Skid Plate installed
- 1" wheel spacers

Tomorrow she gets window tint treatment
Monday she gets her AC fixed
Tuesday, PDR estimate. Few hail dings on 4th day lol, don't ask.
