I got the weight distribution dialed in today.
With the new hitch, it handle the roads / highway almost as well as my previous Ram 3500. The 1 ton had enough power you barely noticed the trailer accelerating from a stop. With the Tacoma, accelerating is (as expected) noticeably different.
I'm just past the break-in period so my foot hasn't gone past 50% throttle with the trailer loaded but even that would be enough for what i plan to do.
I'm impressed how this "compact" truck can tows.
