Late to the party, but Heritage Blue looks so much better than Trail Diarrhea, er... Dust.
are you trading the Tacoma in for the LC or is this joining the stable?
Right on - that's not bad at all. The ones I've seen with no functionality when powered off were aftermarket add-ons and the crappy reflectivity one was in a late model F-150. I just wasn't impressed with any of them but I'll change my stance after seeing these. That's how they should all be.
Well that's fair, then. The few I've encountered in the past have been completely useless when powered off or have had a reflective surface that was next-to-useless in "normal mirror" mode.
Nah, I wouldn't have one as long as I could avoid it. They absolutely have their perks and nice features, so I'm not shaking a stick at the sky because of technology... I just think they add unnecessary complexity and additional points of failure when a plain mirror has done the job for decades...
If only there were some sort of a simpler, non-powered solution that could perform the same job while also costing far less to service and replace... 🤔
(sorry, I had to be a dill-hole for a sec. I think digital mirrors are one of the dumbest damn things to ever exist on modern vehicles.)
Hope...
Does anyone here ever take the Toyota Owners' Intersection surveys? I always take a few minutes and fill them out. The one today was asking for opinions on future OEM accessories including some carbon fiber pieces, a 5-link rear suspension, and a rear Torsen limited slip differential.

My unsolicited opinion- Tinted taillights suck. I know it's not A E S T H E T I C, but sometimes it can be nearly impossible for folks behind you to tell when you're braking or indicating a turn during the daytime if the sun is at the right angle. Don't be the tinted taillight guy.
But if you...
Ah, yeah that sucks. We've had a lot of hail in the area with all of those storms so I've been on edge trying to keep both vehicles safe any time it starts moving in. I love a good springtime storm, but tornados and hail really suck.
$0/mo here. I put 50% down at purchase and financed the rest at 6.11% for 60mos, which ended up making it right around $400/mo. (this was June of 2024) - I just ended up paying it off after 10mos. I'd rather give those payments to myself for a high-yield savings instead.
Gotta start saving now...
My driver front window does this occasionally... of course, it gets opened and closed the most. We had a particularly dusty springtime here, so I know the tracks have gotten quite a bit inside of them. It goes away for a while after a wash or rain, and even longer if I clean out the tracks with...
