I spent the better part of this year debating on getting a set of Cooper Discoverer Road+Trail ATs. I had already decided long ago that I would get those, but really hated the thought of getting new tires when I really didn't *need* any. We had a ton of rain in the last month that helped me make...
Maybe they just grabbed the wrong one off the shelf? I've been using N1s and I can't find any application guide that shows the D1 as being compatible with our engines. Would it thread on and seat? Yeah, likely. Would it filter oil? Sure. Are the internals the same or have the same bypass...
You're sitting at 0 rpm in that picture, so the engine isn't running to generate any oil pressure. I'd be more concerned if you still had no pressure showing with the engine actually revving.
I think this is just common with most rubber formulations in general. The hoses and rubber boots on my motorcycle do the same thing. I just wipe them down with a damp microfiber when detailing it and they look good as new again.
Oooof yeah that is super high. I think $2100 was on the high end, but this place was the only Katzkin "authorized" dealer in my area. I could have just ordered the kit and taken it to any upholstery shop I'm sure, but I didn't want to chance it. I wouldn't have paid more than $2000-2100 for...
Just wanted to add to some existing posts and drop some before/after pics of my own Katzkin leather install on my 2024 TRD-OR.
So far, I'm incredibly pleased with these. They're better in every way than the stock cloth seats and I feel like they were worth the price. (~$2100 after tax for...
As Sagebrush said, that's a 3rd party GPS unit. My dealer had one on my truck and I told them at purchase to remove it because it wasn't financed through them and was no longer their property once I had keys in hand. They "conveniently" forgot to remove it, so I did when I got home that day and...
Late to the party, but Heritage Blue looks so much better than Trail Diarrhea, er... Dust.
are you trading the Tacoma in for the LC or is this joining the stable?
Right on - that's not bad at all. The ones I've seen with no functionality when powered off were aftermarket add-ons and the crappy reflectivity one was in a late model F-150. I just wasn't impressed with any of them but I'll change my stance after seeing these. That's how they should all be.
Well that's fair, then. The few I've encountered in the past have been completely useless when powered off or have had a reflective surface that was next-to-useless in "normal mirror" mode.
Nah, I wouldn't have one as long as I could avoid it. They absolutely have their perks and nice features, so I'm not shaking a stick at the sky because of technology... I just think they add unnecessary complexity and additional points of failure when a plain mirror has done the job for decades...
If only there were some sort of a simpler, non-powered solution that could perform the same job while also costing far less to service and replace... ?
(sorry, I had to be a dill-hole for a sec. I think digital mirrors are one of the dumbest damn things to ever exist on modern vehicles.)
Hope...
Does anyone here ever take the Toyota Owners' Intersection surveys? I always take a few minutes and fill them out. The one today was asking for opinions on future OEM accessories including some carbon fiber pieces, a 5-link rear suspension, and a rear Torsen limited slip differential.
I...
My unsolicited opinion- Tinted taillights suck. I know it's not A E S T H E T I C, but sometimes it can be nearly impossible for folks behind you to tell when you're braking or indicating a turn during the daytime if the sun is at the right angle. Don't be the tinted taillight guy.
But if you...
