I’ll be adapting my 2009 All Terrain Bobcat to my 2026 Trailhunter so this is all good to hear.
A couple of questions, did you have any issues with the bed mounting or did you buy the new bed bars from FWC? Also, are you running the tailgate on or did you take it off and if so, how are you...
I have a Scangauge 2 in my soon to be sold 2005 Tacoma, install was easy as the thing is pretty small. I am looking at the bigger and boxier Scangauge 3 for my incoming 2026 Trailhunter but I am not really seeing any plug and play A pillar mounts which is where I would want it in an ideal...
Thanks for posting this, I have these on order to be put on when my truck comes in later this month. I'll swap the order out for 265/70/R18 K03's as my truck comes with mudflaps.
I'm fairly confident it will fit based on measurements at the dealership, etc. But I am not one to take chances so I will make sure I am 100% of the fit and securing of it before I start making any adjustments. So it will be a slow process initially making sure the wide fenders clear the jack...
Thanks, with some patient freeze-frame, that helped enough.
I'm almost positive I have found a place in my camper to re-locate it to, can access disconnects from the turnbuckle assess hole. Once I get the truck, I will pull the controller out of the bed and figure out what do to next.
Can you do me a favor if inclined and when you have a chance? I need the outside measurements of that air compressor control box faceplate. I am going to have to re-locate mine on my Trailhunter so I can access it with a slide-in camper on. I have a place in the camper that could work if not too...
As I contemplate either starting from scratch or moving my slide-in / pop-up camper over to my incoming Trailhunter, I am either looking at going with a new camper setup that does not block the air compressor control panel or my existing one that does. If I use my Four Wheel pop-up, there is...
My usual source (Consolevault) does not have one that fits the hybrid Trailhunter, anyone with a TH have any luck with the OEM one and if so, what is the part#?
Will definitely research it well before I buy and apply so if you have heard any negative things, I would be open to it. I use one on my supercharged 2005 Tacoma and it has made a huge difference in keeping the intercooler clean which in turn does well at keeping charge temps down.
It's been awhile since I have used them, it seems it is spray on now so that will be much easier than the drip application. It is what it is, I live off a dirt road and Colorado has been dry and dusty in general for over a decade at this point.
Next up, oil catch can...
I just had to order a spare from a Toyota dealer on eBay, these are hard to find! I thought I was done with the oil crap once AFE came out with a dryfit for my 2005, ugh!
So to be clear, these are K&N oil type filters? If so, I am not a fan of those in general because it is easy to under or over oil them. On my 2005 I run a set of AFE dryfit filters that I rotate out every oil change, rinse and then dry, no oil.
I am wondering if you use this hydrophobic filter...
