After the OEM fix stopped working a year later (specifically driving in the cold with a crosswind) I gave up and went aftermarket. I will keep a link to this post handy for when I find someone to buy the OEM roof rack off me! Thank you!

Kuat makes a side mount bike rack instead of all the way over the cab or bed. It is probably a love it or hate it mount.... I don't mind it, but I'm sure others would EDIT: it's not my truck, and I do not have that mount on my truck

Naa, I like that sound (that's the pedestrian alert sound) It is a high pitch electrical whine coming from behind the glove box. On the other side of the firewall in that location is about where the hybrid inverter is, so I'm fairly certain it's the inverter noise.

Maybe? I don't think I've heard it in other hybrids though. Just a minor annoyance

Ordered the step edition sliders with kickout (powder coated with bed liner step), they arrived, and due to holiday travel, business travel, and cold weather, they are finally installed after months of sitting in garage! They look and work and work great!

There are 2 sounds being discussed. One is the pedestrian sound which is a speaker, the other is an electronic whine (maybe coming from the inverter)
