Mine are caliraised ditch light brackets. I started with BD squadron pros. Then had a bigger Auxbeam light on them before moving them to the roof. I now have 4.5” Auxbeam lights on the ditch light mounts. With either set of lights on them I haven’t had any problems with them.
I searched and searched for a custom mount for the Auxbeam in the engine bay. Just nothing available.
I saw your battery mount before I did mine and to be honest I’ve had to deal with batteries more than fuses in years past. The only fuse I’ve blown so far was for an aux switch with to much amp...
Finished putting in Auxbeam switch panel and changing some lights around. Had a 20” BD Onyx 6 on the roof rack. It’s an amazing light. Love the color temp and full spot lenses. But no backlights. Seeing all the cool light setups with background lights drove the decision to change things around...
For ditch lights or some reverse lights the aux switches are great. Once you start adding in big light bars and other auxiliary lighting they quickly run out of juice. Moving to an Auxbeam switch setup to handle higher amp lights.
