Nice LP setup. I just had mine installed a couple of weeks ago and I’m still doing some outfitting on it. Putting solar on today. Did you do anything with the tailgate lip so you can open the back door without having to open the tailgate?
I've been considering one of these, but the price is up there. The only negative thing I read about them is that it hurts your departure angle if that matters to you.
Hey Dan, I have been looking at the Etaker F1000 and the F2000 to do exactly what you are doing with yours. I want to charge a 48v battery that I can hookup to my Ecoflow Delta 2 max to extend it's capacity and also manage a solar array on my camper. I've been reluctant to pull the trigger on it...
Thanks for the tips! I will try and be diligent with the sealing. I'm coming from Atlanta, lol, and plan to catch a Braves game against the Mariners during the first week of May. I plan to get the install a couple of weeks before then and do some exploring around the area with the new camper...
Hey Dan, I came across your thread after searching for Lonepeak. I just received an email that my build is ready for install and I will be driving to Washington in a couple of weeks. I was wondering if you did the recommended bed cap seal before picking yours up and any advice on the subject...
FYI they have two different versions, the Covert like I have and the Super Covert like Tfouts has. Both have there advantages and disadvantages. Good luck with your purchase!
Have you considered the Project M Four Wheel Camper? It should be considerably lighter because it sits on the rails. If you go with something similar to the M there are a myriad of choices. The Tune is a great model to consider but as you stated it isn’t built out. Super Pacific, Gofast and Lone...
I’ve had my truck for almost a year now and I have never had a problem with it starting although it’s rare that it sits more than a couple of days. FYI I wired the winch directly to the battery with 20’ of 2 awg cable with a solenoid interrupt, wired to one of the auxiliary switches. Good luck...
I have a 12k winch on my TH but I haven’t had to do a recovery yet. I did pull the truck with light brake pressure to tension the synthetic line onto the reel with zero problems. Where did you get this information about an anemic 12v system?
Trailhunter here, not currently running these but this is probably the tire I'll be going with the stock TH wheels and suspension, when the original tires wear out. It seems to check all of the boxes, being a SL load tire. I think the height will be perfect but I wish that it was a little skinnier.
