Have you looked for a kartboy shifter for it?

6000rpm capability is nice to have though for 1st gear.

Another thing the OTT tune does is give the 6MT the same redline as the automatic has. That is nice for 1st gear. My understanding is that the tune comes as a complete load. Less features isn't cheaper. I also didn't need the extra output.

Shorter height also results in a shorter throw distance. It also slightly increases the lever force. From the end of the lever to the middle of the big pivot ball was 13". My shortened lever is now 11.875".
