I would suggest contacting them to ask if they sent you the correct one; I've had many Covercraft sunshades throughout the years, never had a gap quite that significant.

The black wheels in the first pic have my vote. I'm usually a sucker for bronze, and they do look good but I prefer the black. Here's another solar octane Tacoma with bronze wheels (methods). Not bad.
