Whole lot of words... No point detected. Heres a picture of my turd off road and buddies sport at Los Pinos mountain loop east of San Diego. Not sure what your old army buddy was talking about, the SW USA is a big place..
Had mine done today. Had been chirping since day 1. Stupid local dealership fought me on it on more than one occasion. Luckily second time I came armed with 10 different videos of it chirping 4-5x on the first minute after startup. Even with those, they still didn't want to do it. Looking...
That isn't surprising at all if you've read any of the posts above yours. More throttle input... more revs... auto transmissions will downshift to get you the power you're telling it to provide. *magic*
My dealership messed up and thought I never picked up my knuckle / tie rod order back in April so now I have another set if anyone needs, dm me. Gas off road trim.
pretty weak. Post should be "introducing the ARB winch for the toyota landcruiser (will fit tacoma as well)
Further, your website doesnt even list the winch as an available product for the 4th gen. You tried, I guess...
Also, LOL at "to use our ARB winches with our ARB bumpers designed for ARB...
I think the 5100s are a better value because they’re cheap and presumably good shocks. They aren’t going to hang as far as oerformance.
My point was more that 5100s are big bang for the buck. 6112s are amazing, I just don’t think they’re 4x better necessarily, if that makes sense.
The only...
Alignment tech is an idiot. 4th gen cam bolts are 206 ft/lb. My alignment guy torqued them to the 3rd gen spec - 106. The shit creaked like a 100 year old floorboard. Shocker: that all went away when I torqued them to 206.
Go with the 6112s imo. No chance you're getting the performance they offer out of a 2" shock. They're so smooth and just soak up hits. I haven't slowed down over a speed bump since I installed them, quite the opposite, I actually speed up.
wow thats a steal. I have these on my truck, also bought used but paid 1k which I thought was a very good deal. Someone buy these, I promise you'll be thrilled with them.
Nice! Pretty funny, I have the same exact setup. 6112, 6100, Icon UCA, 817 springs, BOTCK, dobinsons end links, Cali raised sliders.
It's great off road. You're right about the price point being just right. I really like these shocks, but you can tell they aren't a super premium offering. At...
