  1. "The" Stereo / Audio Sound Post: Don't Skip this one!

Damn "The Dude", someone got their panties bunched up on this one. Find another post to shit on. You came on My post and wanted to diminish it, when all i was doing was trying to help others and share my experience. Then you got caught "Spewing misinformation" yourself. Your righteous and...

Still interesting that myself and others notice a significant difference between Hybrid and non-hybrid. Maybe its limited to individual vehicles and a flaw. I did say "I assume" because I don't know the root cause of why it behaves that way. Sounds like neither do you.

I can only assume less strain on the battery contributes to more available power for the audio system. Its quite noticeable. I have seen reviews for the 4Runner where they noticed the same thing.

We can agree to disagree and that's the beauty of it! I will say I am WELL familiar with clipping. That is most certainly not the case here. That's not how clipping works. Clipping can happen 2 ways but most commonly when the speakers are actually asking more more power than what can be...

The Beat Sonic "device/amp/voltage box" did absolutely have an effect on the audio authority and quality. Simply turning up the volume did NOT elicit the same results. Furthermore, if you are merely "adding to the gain" of the factory amplifier, as long as you are not going balls to the wall in...
  7. RCI Roof Rack installed w/ Diode Dynamics 42" inch light bar.

How are you guys liking the RCI rack still? Wind noise or vibrations at fast highway speeds?
  8. Carista OBD2

Several things related to the Audio that makes it better. https://www.tacoma4g.com/forum/threads/the-stereo-audio-sound-post-dont-skip-this-one.18113/

Honorable mention: The center channel speaker "looseness" and rattle is easily solved by a piece or two of door seal foam on the back of the speaker itself, right in between the two metal brackets where it clips in. It will take a fair bit more pressure to push it down into the charging cradle...
  10. "The" Stereo / Audio Sound Post: Don't Skip this one!

Hello all! This is my first post here and I am new this year new to Tacos (25' Trailhunter). So far so good! I wanted to compile a thorough and complete post (including info I have not seen anywhere else) about 4th Gen Tacoma Audio. There is more to this than what you might be thinking I...
