  1. 2024 TRD Off-Road Factory Backup Camera Relocation

Reviving this thread! This kit looks to be available now: https://www.ggoffroad.com/products/toyota-tailgate-back-up-camera-relocation-cable?variant=52242034819384 Why it's almost $300, I don't know, but it is available. Might try it when I get my swingout.
  2. A Cautionary Tale About Aftermarket Accessories—and an Expensive Unexpected Failure

This is wild ! Thanks for sharing. I added a fuse to the Tow-ign slot which was fuse free for whatever reason for my Diode Dynamics light bar. But man, would have never considered this!
  3. Random 2024 Tacoma 4th Gen Photos of the Day - Post Yours! 📸 🤳

The only Tacoma in a sea of Subarus at the Welcome Pass Trailhead (WA).
  4. Noob with Dobinson spring question

Would love for @ARB 4x4 to chime in here and let us know how many inches of lift over stock height the OEM rear Trailhunter shocks are designed for or if they should be upgraded to longer shocks when lifting the rear.
  5. Noob with Dobinson spring question

Did you replace your rear shocks with BP51's like @rchrds did ? Or did you just stretch out the OEM shocks ?
  6. Should I buy a Tacoma? Coming from a sports car

But don't buy it if you're gonna drive it like people drive Civics. You have to drive like an adult now. Jokes aside. Do it. Best deals are at the end of the month. I've been happy with the SR5 and building it out now I want it as time/money allows. Love the truck !
  7. Noob with Dobinson spring question

    This is the answer.
  8. Noob with Dobinson spring question

Haha got it! I'm only speaking to the rear too since OP wants to lift the rear. If you go through the forum you see folks throwing on rear springs and lifting the rear of their trucks anywhere from 1 to 3 inches. But all of our stock shocks were not designed to accommodate more rear lift than...
  9. Noob with Dobinson spring question

That's surprising! I think the OME BP51 only accommodates up to a 2" lift.
  10. Noob with Dobinson spring question

Oh yea forgot you all have that BANGIN setup! Couldn't be bothered with a quick Google search 😂 just curious, do you know how much lift the OEM TH suspension setup can accommodate ?
  11. Noob with Dobinson spring question

If you're happy with how it rides and looks day to day but just want to support it for trips, might consider airbags. Idk about the trailhunter suspension, but I don't think the stock suspension on other models is designed for any kind of lift over factory height. Up to you if you want to...
  12. What did you do TO / WITH your 4th gen Tacoma today?! 👨‍🏭 🧰 📸

I have the same Lightbar. It is awesome! Nice work.
  13. What did you do TO / WITH your 4th gen Tacoma today?! 👨‍🏭 🧰 📸

Drove up E. Church Mtn Rd and ran to the summit of Church Mountain, WA. Got my first pin stripes too🤘
  14. Stock SR5 measurements needed

I hear ya! I wish Bilstein had something that would accommodate a 2" lift in the rear. I'd probably just leave it. Looks like factory rake with the camper on and don't mind it, just don't like being out of spec, but once I'm loaded up with gear it sits nice. Unloaded Loaded
  15. Stock SR5 measurements needed

Well that's what I'm saying, that's why it's up @ 25" right now. Had a 1/2 inch spacer, swapped to a 1" spacer, then when I got my camper swapped to Icon overland springs which are supposed to be 1/2" over stock height with 600# constant, but right now with 400# I'm almost 2" over stock height...
